Pure Love – Magnetic Poetry Monday

pure Love feels like this
gently murmurs the breeze
leaving me breathless,
long rosy tendrils softly
rooting deep into my
soul…sweet, sacred peace

Peace in Pieces

The sky is falling   send in the drones
no place to hide   enough is enough
little by little   show them who’s boss
hope slips away   weak we are not
death is a gift   they won’t soon forget
when life is pure hell   bomb them to bits
mercy is madness   mercy’s for losers
though some live to tell   who haven’t a clue
darkness unending   bleeding heart saps
no place to hide   enough is enough
the sky is falling   send in the drones

(NaPoWriMo 2017 #7 –  Today’s prompt suggestion was to write something along the lines of “luck” and “fortuitousness”, but I’m afraid I didn’t have the heart for it.

A Cleave Poem – How to read a Cleave Poem (three poems in one) 1) read the Italic column top to bottom 2) Read the Bold column top to bottom 3) read each line across top to bottom)

Blue

picture a day
cool and blue,
a delicious breeze
like breathy kisses
on your naked skin,
your heart slowly
throbbing, healing…

let this thought haunt
you when life is out
of rhythm and
times are broken.

it is always a good
thing to linger here
embracing peace.

Magnetic Poetry Monday – 13 February 2017

God is not there to listen
for growling fools to come
asking for magic things…
more this and that.
She is a lover of peace
calling her children home.

Remember – Magnetic Poetry Saturday – 4 February 2017

remember when we were
a melting pot of soft hearts
open to the young and the old,
man, woman and child;
a brilliant sea of colors and voices
celebrating all as one; not less than.

it is not too late
to heal our broken world
by first making peace with ourself.
