Resolution Me Not

no, I will not
make resolutions I can’t keep

this yearly pressure has to stop
what of the ‘benny’s’ I might reap?
lose some weight…perhaps get more sleep…
…no… I will not

~kat

Monday Magnets

the universe sings,
this sun-filled morning,
with a thousand hopeful
wishes for peace, love and
joy…let’s remember this
moment when our hearts
lose faith in dreams
