my heart remembers it like it was before the lies before we were broken from the ocean’s rhythmic dance to the delicious slow kiss of a cool breeze’s embrace there is joy and peace

Today’s glimmer is a day late…I was a bit overwhelmed with reentry into work after a daunting two and half day travel schedule.
After trying for hours to muster the words while fighting sleep, I gave in and picked up this morning with a little help from the online magnets. I did manage to enjoy last evening breeze as the sun set. There is much I could say about the tidal turn of our country and the chaos that is happening., but I encourage you to remember what life was like before uncertainty and fear took hold.
If you are fortunate to live by the ocean, get yourself to the shore and let the sound of waves lull you to calmness and peace…that’s your glimmer!
If you, like me, far from the water’s edge, I invite you to go outside and give yourself to be ravaged by the breeze. It needn’t be a brisk breeze…just the slightest whisper will do. That’s your glimmer.
Tomorrow we march, tomorrow we advocate, but for today may the natural world hold and keep you, and help you remember who you are and how it was not too long ago…
they surround me ghosts of those who linger here, though eternity called their name long ago their voices soft on the breeze so we may remember how to heal

Sometimes there is nothing to say. and rather than force some words to fill the void, I embrace the beauty around me and listen to the wind. There is no better place to be (imho of course!)😉
eternity smiled helping me remember there is magic here

Another dazzling glimmer. Today, as our nation honored our democratic ideals and peacefully handed over the power of the presidency to a criminal, a felon, a despicable abuser of women, a liar, a grifter, an insurrectionist … several cardinals stopped by my feeders reminding me that my ancestors are always with me. Watching, guiding, inspiring me to reach higher, to carry on the legacy in my bones, to make them proud. Today’s glimmer is the most meaningful by far, redirecting my focus from those triggers of angst and dread to a moment of joy remembering who I am because of those who have gone before me. We’ve got this. Peace and glimmers to you!
I see red when I hear their slow sad voices repeating the lies of a fool who secretly hates them; their hearts poisoned by darkness. It is of no use trying to save them for they are long gone…I must look away, smile, and melt into blue.
