It was a daunting challenge. Find glimmers and write about it for 365 days. There were a few days missed to the business of life, but I pressed on. My goal 365 posts, even if it dipped into the new year. Which it did. And then last week as I was nearing the end of the challenge, I realized that I would be finishing today…1/11 which falls in 2026…”1” numerically speaking…and it just so happens that my birthdate adds up to the master number of 11. There are a lot of 11’s in this scenario…and trust me when I tell you I did not plan this! But needless to say 11 has always been a special number to me.
What a serendipitous denouement to a glittering year…one that tested our hearts, souls, patience and resolve in ways we never imagined. But here we are. Armed with the assurance that we made it. May we continue to press on with kindness, compassion, and truth.
I thought it would be appropriate to end this year in a ReVerse taking a line from each month from one of the poems that got the most “likes” for that month. In essence I am letting you all help me write the last ReVerse poem of this past year…
365 days of glimmers
vengeance in the wind touches my heart and soul deeply days feel longer deceived, a blink, a nod, and evil wins the quiet murmur will not deny that we exist there is a whisper of light piercing through the stained glass a time to harvest…to let go strong, full of life, in the light of the sun to dream dreams

We did it together! Made it through a crazy year and lived to tell. I love how this ReVerse started with trepidation but ended on a high note! Thank you my friends for helping me craft the perfect look back over the past 365 days. 😊
Much love, peace, kindness, and glimmers to you. So many glimmers. May the coming year be one of serendipitous moments and continued glimmers to keep you!
Sometimes the bravest, most courageous thing you can do is to simply be present. There is immense power packed in a pause, in several long, deep breaths. It’s healing, rejuvenating, centering.
I know, if you’re paying attention, you are likely exhausted by the never – ending barrage of bad news. I know. I feel it too. But if you don’t manage to eke out a moment for you today, I’m inviting you right now. Stop what you’re doing. Light a candle if you have one. And take a deep breath in, slowly exhale, and repeat…as many times as you need to remember who you are. BTW, you’re pretty amazing. It’s true.
Much love, peace, kindness, and glimmers to you. I lit a candle for you. It’s your glimmer and a moment…presence…from me to you.
What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
Mr. Bean, age 24 years, hates getting photographed. He ruffles his feathers and hides when I pull out my phone. Smart boy!
long in tooth . gray thinning hair, smile lines, soft belly, pale skin the mirror tells a morbid story one foot in the grave, clock ticking but my soul knows no age she twinkles from my clear blue eyes that girl with big dreams, still reaching, taking up space like she owns the place… she’s earned it, every inch

I tried to take a break from the news today. It has gone from bad to worse. And it never stops! I am outraged by recent events as the truth breaks through the lies. I plan to stay the course. To use my voice. And on that note, I caught a few seconds of Gabby singing the song of her tribe. In this world of liars, be a Gabby, pure, fearless, and brave as only a tiny little pint of a dog can be.
Much love, peace, kindness, and glimmers to you!

Gabby…Call of the Wild (with Mr. Bean egging her on in the background!)
One more glimmer…you know you need it! Tonight’s beautiful, beautiful sky. As I gaze at the stars I imagine you, dear reader, looking at those same stars. Here’s looking at YOU! 💚😊💚
it’s not safe . but fight the urge to hide… that is what they want to terrify us into silence please don’t stop fighting for the truth there is such a thing even if they say truth is dead

It would be so easy to hide away in my house in the foothills. The world has become a scary place. But I am sure that is exactly what DT and his minions want….to terrify us in order to silence us all into submission.
As tempting as it is, I know that I need to resist the urge to hide from the world. This world needs each one of us to shine the light of kindness, compassion, and truth. We need each other now more than ever.
Fear is what got us here. We can do better. Never forget.
