Tweeting disaster
narcissistic, misogynist,
spoiled man-child…

Savior
wall-builder,
phenomenal dealer
making things great again.

Little Things – NoPoWriMo 2017 #4

Little Things

it’s the little things
forget the forest, I want to hug trees
it’s the little things
like collecting pebbles, now that’s my bling
or blowing white floaties setting them free
it doesn’t take much to entertain me
it’s the little things

April Song – NaPoWriMo 2017 #3

I listen to warblers trilling, and rain
dripping, dropping, plopping, muddy pools
swelling, a symphony at cool
gray dusk, skeletal gravid
trees limbs, henna-umbered,
wet, rooted deep, earth
softly greening,
April’s first
song of
Spring

Intuition – Magnetic Poetry Monday

between the light and dark,
the hot and cold
there is a softer world
of shade and warmth
where you can breathe
deeply and listen
to your heart
