a moment’s sweet wish
needs only hope to
make a dream come
true and stars to
tell them to

dazzle me not with things…
I long only for the poetry
of life…of warm embraces,
smiles, delicious laughter,
kisses, your cool breath
lingering on my skin…the
only gift I need is you

darkness
grows quiet as
light falls longer
dawn to dusk

A trio of magnetic verse for this holiday weekend. Happy merry blessings.

the moment we
believe in our
dreams, they
become something
to hope for

like a cat on a window
ledge, always looking
out as life passes by,
some of us are prisoners
never longing for more

‘tis the season of
peace and sacred
light, blossoms softly
frosted, love’s pure
longing, come to
quiet our souls
through the dark night
