Ghost…Haiku

1474813632345

haunting the hopeful
a ghost of a chance dangles
to keep dreams alive

I believe in ghosts
not that I’ve seen one up close
but i have felt them

my old house whispers
each creak, each groan tells the tale
of a voice silenced

Lark-Rush Haiku

one should never rush
when setting off on a lark
each moment matters

This haiku is in response to Ronovan Writes Poetry Challange, prompt words: Lark & Rush.

Birth

it begins at birth
for seedlings and neophytes
life’s first little death

how the dreamers groan
birthing hope in ecstasy
’twill be what saves us

A few Haiku for Haiku Horizon’s Poetry Challenge, prompt word, “Birth”.

Seasons – Magnetic Poetry Monday

seasons

seasons cycle gently
from spring to summer,
fall to winter…
would that I could
breeze through life
as willingly

just sayin’

if you write in
gigabytes and
digital streaming
lines bit by bit
then you could
be a geek 😊
