Well, it’s a wrap for Fib week! I have several unfinished fibs in my notebook. All of them missing a final line. You’d think it would be easy…just eight syllables, no rhyme, no meter. But I suppose I’m running out of steam here. I did manage to finally finish one. It pretty much says it all. I’m thinking of spending next week doing blackout poems. We’ll see how that goes…😴

It’s been a few weeks since our resident Carolina wren began to roost keeping vigil over what we think is 4 eggs deposited in the nest she and her mate crafted in my flower pot. Right on time the chicks have emerged from their shells. Two weeks or so to fledgling day! We feel so honored that they are willing to share the back porch with us. What a miracle to behold!
