Thank you Colleen. We have had just enough rain so far. Just enough to keep the ground from cracking. The leaves here are turning. At dusk the light around my house is pale orange. LOVE this time of year. 🙂

Though there is a downside. I am extremely allergic to trees, grass and plants. I keep a decongestant handy! 😀🤧😷

Hi Kat, I love the last line, “softs the loam to tend them. I love to hurry and get all the leaves raked before the first rains come, so I can stomp down the brittle leaves and help the deterioration process soften the loam.

Hi Marsha,
Thanks. I do love autumn and the smell of the leaves when they are damp covering the ground. I love your practice of stomping through the dry ones though. How fun!

Me too, apart from the fact that I walk through thousands of cobwebs every year!
