November Naani #21

there are some people
strangers, really, who seem
to know, in a moment’s glance,
your soul…they just know

November Naani #20

ever slowly, bit by bit
from that first gulp of air
haunted by time’s tocking tick
we’re dying, unaware

November Naani #18-19

the moon is waxing
gibbous, luminous
this mid-autumn night
clouds warm and golden

windows glow below
lay them down, down
to sleep, may their souls
gently keep until the dawn

Missed yesterday, so today you get a two-fer! I almost wrote about that dragon up there. Cool sky this evening in my neighborhood! 😊

November Naani #16

it’s so strange, the things
we remember, snapshots
of moments past…
lumpy cream of wheat

~kat

November Naani #15

unbroken

I remember believing

I might die when you left

yet here I am, breathing…

roses still smell sweet
