I’ve spent the evening wrestling with senseless words…too many words…tonight’s simple haiku will have to do. At the very least I have managed to be present. That’s something. That’s a pretty big something.
gentle visitors emerge from the trees at dusk grace before a storm

There is another s snow event heading our way. They name snow storms now you know. This one is named Kingston. He is carrying a ton of snow to our region. At least that’s the best guess of meteorologists.
The name Kingston is old English and means simply, “the king’s town”. And a thought occurred to me and made me smile. We don’t have a king here. Not here in these foothills…not in this state…not in this country. Not yet anyway. But right here, right now, I have visitors who happened by. Graceful, beautiful souls to remind me to go gently into this night. Come snow by dawn or not, Kingston is just passing through and spring is coming. Most surely, spring is in the wings.
1- born of magic the breath of angels, from stardust and poetry to secret longing the heart of a child
2- people know no more than they’re ready to believe they’re special that way
3- she had attitude an impressive confidence in her own coolness

A trio of Magnetic Poetry poems. Night two of camping inside under layers of clothing and blankets. Tomorrow, they say, we can expect to regain the light.
Peace, Love, and Warm Glimmers to you! Stay safe and warm my friends.

Feeling silly today. I’m not sure what or why. There seems to be plenty of lunacy tonight. There is snow on the way on the eve of the full snow moon. Serendipitous I say. ❄️😊❄️ And it would seem Mother Nature is making good on her agreement with Punxsutawney Phil to drag winter out another 6 weeks…whatever. I’ve got things to do or not.
Sometimes it really is the little things that matter most. Like today. It’s Friday, it’s payday…TGIF…I had several fellow employees repeat this sentiment to me throughout the day. We’re all hanging by a thread it seems. But little glimmers of this truth remind me that there is still so much to be grateful for. Grateful.…and celebrating the small stuff. No sweat!
Peace, Love and TGIF Glimmers to you. Let the breathing commence!
