each moment holds
the promise of peace
for searching souls
with open hearts
and minds
that quietly listen

it’s not like words will change our minds
we’re wasting time
sharing more thoughts
our soul’s are bought
so as this fight comes to an end
to all lost friends
fanatical
collateral
let’s hope we can bridge the divide
once we decide
t’would be a sin
to let hate win

(A Minute Poem)
Happy Monday! Today’s poem comes from the Original Magnet Kit.

wanting
we can moan about not having
or be pleased with what we have
but love is all one truly needs
anything less is showy fluff

when planning for a lovely stroll,
with dog in tow,
to play some fetch
at river’s edge
take care to notice red dawn skies
-word to the wise-
you might regret
the plans you’ve set
if you ignore the coming storms
when you’ve been warned
you’ll feel the pain…
relentless rain.

tides of greatest change
dredge through stagnant surfaces
no stone left unturned.
a fleeting riptide
offers escape for the wise
who go with the flow.
