…to a potted plant
you don’t need a lot
a bit of soil, water, light
root-bound in a small clay pot
wondrous neophyte
thriving in my cubicle outright

I love it. Plants (especially potted ones) ask so little of us and give us so much. 😉

I love this–I’ve only been a plant mom less than a year, and I really enjoy the ones I have, though I’m a fretter! Lost one of the bromeliads (fertilizer burn I think)–and I’ve got another plant I can’t figure out: I don’t think it’s dead exactly, but it’s not thriving, and water/fertilizer don’t seem to affect it at all…but the other 8 are doing well, so I’m counting my blessings! 🙂

Good luck to you! I have never been good with plants, but I have one that keeps thriving in spite of me. It’s a great comfort to me. 😊

Historically, I’d been a plant killer–but I took a leap of faith, and so far so good! 🙂

Me too. Plants typically came to my house to die. 😳 fingers crossed for yours. 🤞

Hahahaha, that’s what I told my neighbor when he kept wanting to give me plants, “do you want them to die?!!” It’s never too late to try again 🙂
