bird on a bough
deep in sweet song
happily she seasons
the cold winds of winter
and earth’s quiet browning
blanketed in frosting
she must be warmed
by memories of spring

Beautiful, hope you like my reply
SEASON CYCLED
tell ya whatcha 🙂
winter invokes
warm memories
inspirational
incentives give
a reason to get
through winters
oh so frozen ways
come spring if
memory serves me
new life conceived
awaiting summer
autumns teasing
winter it is back
so the cycle goes
Take care, stay warm, best wishes to you and your kin,
Mick

The wonderful thing about this is that it is online and you can play it right in your phone or computer. http://magneticpoetry.com/pages/play-online

All the birds around here have been really fluffed up lately, trying to keep warm. I wonder if they really do remember spring?
