Saturday Magnets

a thousand tiny flowers
charmed by the sun
innocently bloom, trusting,
never thinking that it is
too soon for spring

only a breath lingers
of their young voices
the window for listening
devoured by the latest
news of the day

I could only muster two magnetic poems today…so much sadness this week. Peace and love to you.

Monday Magnets

i don’t recall the dream
ending this way, with
me here alone and you
on the wind…the bitter
crush, my aching breasts
a childless mother, barely
a whisper from death, and
yet I should have known
you were meant to fly

Belated Monday Magnets

there are times when
only a good hot cup
of chocolate will do
velvety, dark, steamy…
it’s like liquid healing
warming me from the
inside out

Magnetic Poetry Online. A bit silly today. Work has been a bear!

Saturday Magnets

A duo today…busy busy! Have a great weekend!

the sky sings in cool
shades of blue and black
with a whisper of diamonds
as I recall memories of
you leaving me and
scream along in red

color me daffodil, berry
blossom, soft rain in shades
of earth, forest deep,
dusky rose lightly
frosted sweet…for
I am weary of
blue, green and brown

Affirmation – Monday Magnets

dazzling.png

you were born dazzling
as the stars on moonless nights,
wild as the ocean, brilliant as
flowers blushed with color;
your breath is a kiss of eternity,
breezy, slow, lingering…

so never let anyone say you
are broken…it is a lie

remember you are magic,
dancing to the rhythm of
the universe…poetry in motion
