there are some complete
droids that live as if
the world is flat
cool breathy kisses
soft clouds of air on the breeze
blush warm lingering
daydreaming, no
stars to wish on
and the sun laughs
at our little hopes
glaring there in the
sky, not listening
they longed for worldly
things as though things
could make them happy
if only they’d known
that things don’t last
only memories do

It’s been a meandering day with the Magnets. A few thoughts her there and yon. I think I might need a hug…it cropped up a few times. Letting go of the ugly of the past year. Clean slate. We can do better. We can always do better.
every heart knows
that there are moments
when only a hug
will do
they ache
never sleeping
crushed by life
when it is less
than they
recall
frosted forest
eden rustles softly
beneath the cold earth
with longing for
spring(s) gentle blooms
stone deep sweetness
in the wings
i am a fool who
was born to see the
magic in ordinary

by life, always breathless
little hearts hold
an innocent trust
