Old King Teflon

He did what he pleased; it was bedlam!
For a while he was slick,
no indictments would stick,
‘til a crack jammed with truth spelled corruption!

Having a bit of fun with my rescue pup Winston. He rarely allows his tummy to be exposed so when he does it it an impressive event. Can you name the movie he stole this scene from. This guy is such a sweet love bug. Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Because this is an odd prompt I found an equally odd poetry form, the Oddquain a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of seventeen syllables distributed 1, 3, 5, 7, 1 in five lines. I chose one of several variations…the mirror oddquain (1-3-5-7-1 1-7-5-3-1) 🙂

noshing on beautiful chocolate cake,
a buffoon oblivious to what’s at stake!
