starry night
.
dark
with glimmers of
light
no sign of the moon
crescent, waxing, somewhere past the trees
granting
every star prominence
for the world to see
how softly
they light the night sky

Much love, peace, and glimmers to you!

Thanks Peter! It was definitely a clear night and minimal moonlight that made it spectacular! ✨💚✨

My starlit skies never come out because we have too much artificial light but my moonshots are good!

When we moved here from town, remember the first night here. It was so quiet…so dark. It was exhilarating to look up and see the stars. It is such a blessing.

The Lincolnshire night sky can be like that when you’re in the middle of nowhere. We drover out of town by about ten miles to see a meteor shower which was ruined by all the traffic headlights!

I’ve been trying to see Venus and Jupiter converging. Maybe tonight we’ll have some clear skies in SE Kansas. Thank you for sharing your view! If this is a recent shot, they COULD be the two bright stars close together on the left. 🙂

Hi Debra! This photo was taken in February of this year. We have had a lot of cloud cover at night here in Virginia lately, so not a great sky view. The clouds did part enough for me to catch glimpses of the full blue moon this past weekend though! 🌕

Still cloudy here at night. We have until Jun 12-13 to catch the 2 planets, plus Mercury at the end.
