ah, yes, Kat, but life does suffer fools. quite foolish not to realize this simple fact. media loves a fool, and hunts them vigorously.

Oh, thank God you finished it as you did! I’ve heard this argument from more argument minded people than I don’t care to shake a stick at. The truth is, when we all learn to look at any situation in the understanding that everyone involved is supposed to end up happy, it becomes very obvious to everyone what changes should be made. And it’s not till we grow up enough to agree on the patently obvious that we can hope to make any real progress as a species…

Yes indeed. I used to enjoy a good debate. That art form is lost in this mean-spirited, my way or the highway, right or wrong, nothing will change my mind, because I have an opinion, society.
