January Biolet #27 & #28

You get a two-fer today. The day slipped away from me yesterday. Below is a photo of my little rescue pup, “Gabby”. She had a spa day. She hates spa days. I am surely on her bad list. So unlike other days, this photo has nothing to do with the biolets…but as I said I’ve been crazy busy. And it make me chuckle. Poor spoiled kumquat!🤣

27-

how warm the sun feels on my skin
streaming soft through the window pane
cloudless blue skies, no sign of rain
here, sheltered from the frigid wind
streaming soft through the window pane
how warm the sun feels on my skin

28-

when I was young and gullible
why, I believed ‘most anything
let others tell me what to think
got me in a heap of trouble
why, I believed ‘most anything
when I was young and gullible

January Biolet #26

spring’s first ambassadors emerge
dressed in deep cerulean blue
a touch of warmth blooms life anew
as winter shrieks its final dirge
dressed in deep cerulean blue
spring’s first ambassadors emerge

January Biolet #25

i trust in facts, not points of view
your opinions are yours alone
righteous beliefs aren’t set in stone,
though they may mean the world to you
your opinions are yours alone
i trust in facts, not points of view

January Biolet #23

there are moments, I must confess
i curse the void inside my brain
in search of witty, rhymed refrains,
inspired streams of consciousness
i curse the void inside my brain
there are moments, I must confess

January Biolet #22

her brilliance cannot be muted
luminous mistress of the night
cloud swells magnify her light
even shaded, she blushes red
luminous mistress of the night
her brilliance cannot be muted
