It’s been a busy work week that started with what people on the East coast of the US called a snowpocalypse! So I’ll start with a photo log of my little car getting buried…
First hour…the morning begins… An hour later…
And another …
…and…24 hours later
But all in all, so beautiful! snow covered cedars and big shiny icicles!
And finally got dug out!
So to start a very busy work week! Off to work when it is dark, then back home equally dark. But the lights are so pretty! And the sights intriguing. I am grateful to be mobile and able to travel to work and back each day. Here are a few sights from my trip home each night…
All tucked in for another night! I hope you’ve had a lovely week!

Thanks to my friend Jacqueline at a cooking pot and twisted tales for this fun little challenge. See her neighborhood sights and share a snippet from where you live HERE!

I just don’t like driving on ice. That’s the only reason I wish it wouldn’t snow.

I agree. Ice is not good for driving at all!

Wow! That’s a lot of white stuff! One reason I don’t like snow aside from the obvious cold is driving in it. Scares the jeepers out of me 😨

It’s the ice that scares me! Once it starts melting and the freezes over! That’s scary!!!!😬

It is beautiful when it first falls but then after awhile it starts looking a bit dirty – anyway, it does here and maybe because we have a lot of dust in our air.

I think it looks that way everywhere. Cars slushing through and the dirt from the ground beneath. I do love a fresh snow though! 😊

I do too. Of course, where I live we don’t get as much snow as you all get. If you drive over the state line into Colorado, they get a lot of snow. In fact, about 60 miles from here is a great snow ski area in Colorado called Purgatory. I got run over by a ski patrol on a snow mobile there years ago! Haha! I quit snow skiing after that.

Oh my gosh! That would make me leery of the slopes too! I’m assuming you are okay from that! 😳

Yes, it just bruised me up. I think it hurt my ego more than my body. Hahaha! But, I was afraid to ski after that.

I really felt sorry for the guy that hit me. He was scared to death and I am sure he lost his job.

Yes! Sadly, these guys had to run around the slopes on the snowmobiles among all the skiers skiing. Dangerous.

Yes, but something like this puts the ski slope, Purgatory, at risk to get sued badly. They wouldn’t want to take that chance again.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about my comment, the guy probably got fired. Yes, I agree, with the snowmobiles running around the slope right along with the skiers – it is very dangerous and risky! I could have easily sued Purgatory, but of course, I didn’t, because I was so glad I wasn’t injured.

The photo time lapse of the car is very telling of how much snow fell. But… ehem.. I wouldn’t know anything about that as I live in Florida and it’s suppose to be in the 80’s tomorrow. Can i have some of your cold? Please!

Haha! You can have all the cold you want. If only that were possible!

A neighbourhood in snow – beautiful. We haven’t even had a proper sprinkling this year!
