deliriously purple
beneath all the bitterness
there is a whisper of light
I still dream of us
crushing this life
overcoming every storm
singing our song together
as the rain drenches us to the bone

Lovely poem Kat. Rain can be very cleansing.

We moaned about the heat, but when the rain came, it was a torrential downpour and damn cold! Now it;s passed, it;s hot and horrible again, but only 22 in the bedroom at the moment (10.20pm)

We’ve had heavy rain again today and more expected overnight, but it’s still 22C in the bedroom.

Hot again today, and we’ve had more rain! We got the washing done this afternoon though and it dried outside in two hours!

Everyone look away while I run naked through the raindrops!

Lovely poem, Kat. I don’t mind the raindrops. It’ll be 90 degrees for us today.

The rain is lovely! 😊 it is the steamy air after that is miserable. Unfortunately the rain doesn’t cool things down. It just becomes a sauna! 😓😓😓
