  Thanks Jane. These are not getting any easier, as I had hoped they would after nearly a month of practice. It is a good lesson in perseverance though. And I do enjoy a challenge. 🙂

    They don’t get easier, you’re right. I think it’s because they are so short. Getting an internal rhyme as well as an end rhyme is hard.

      That is the hard part…all the rhyming required. But it has been a good exercise. I see the end in sight though! 🙂

        That’s how I look on it. I’d be hard pressed to call any of me Essences poem, but they are good little writing exercises.

        They are a bit abrupt. I always feel adding one more line might make a proper short poem, but rules are rules. 🙂
