I haven’t seen a monarch butterfly in ages! We used to have them around here seasonally… but I have moved around town a few times. Maybe there aren’t the right bushes in my neighborhood.

There are numerous articles online that say the Monarchs have been disappearing. It’s alarming enough that environmentalists have called for it to be listed as an endangered species that needs protection and perhaps assistance in reestablishing their population. 🙁
