Thanks Kat! Never been to a Renaissance Fair – we don’t have them as such in the UK, though we do have re-enactors and I always find them fascinating, especially round the campfires and the domestic side of things. Love it 🙂

I live in Virginia and we have reenactments if the Civil War here. Unfortunately folks in these parts still think the war is going on and hope for a rise of the South again! 😕 being a Midwestern transplant you can imagine how disturbing I find this!!!! 😳

Ah, yes, I can only imagine! It would be like us having Total Monarchy Fairs where people yearn after the days before democratically elected government, when the monarch held unquestioned control. Hmm. Disturbing indeed. 🙂
