bleating wolves…a cautionary tale
there once was a flock herd of gullible sheep
who trusted a wolf who had learned how to bleat
their best instincts, ignored
they leaned in to hear more
the wolf snarled, “mutton’s my favorite meat!”

You know what they say…if it’s too good to be true, well then, it probably is. We humans are so easily duped. If something is sensational or shiny enough we fall for it every time! This of course makes us especially vulnerable to con artists and charlatans. These types rarely have our best interests at heart. And so, today’s limerick is a cautionary tale for our times.
All things glittery are not glimmers. I generally take my cues from nature, the seasons, and the stars when judging whether a glimmer is true. The natural world is honest and without malevolence. One day you realize that you that you have much more in common with the natural world than you ever thought..or were taught to believe. When that happens it will be much harder for the wool to be pulled over your eyes. Your intuition will confirm what is real.
Peace, Love, and the truest of true Glimmers to you!

A very wise, cautionary tale Kat.

Very true. But these sheep have brains and can think for themselves.

Thank you Di. I agree…wolves are amazing creatures. We could learn a thing or two from them.

Been watching a nature programme on youtube tonight about a She Wolf. Beautiful and I cried when she lost her mate.
