It’s been a few weeks since our resident Carolina wren began to roost keeping vigil over what we think is 4 eggs deposited in the nest she and her mate crafted in my flower pot. Right on time the chicks have emerged from their shells. Two weeks or so to fledgling day! We feel so honored that they are willing to share the back porch with us. What a miracle to behold!

It’s so cool to have them so close. In a few weeks they’ll be ready to take flight! It’s fascinating! Thanks Willow!
