despair is like a tidal wave
wreaking havoc in its wake
but peace is a stream
soft flowing, serene
storms abate
if you wait

Never heard of this form before Kat. I like it. The word translates as bellows but I can’t find any etymological link!

Wow – this is so good, Kat. I’ve tried my hand at clogyrnach before – but I think your off rhymes make it work much more smoothly than any of mine! Beautiful.
Sincerely,
David [ben Alexander]

Thank you Ben. This is a new form for me. It is a bit tricky! Took a day’s worth of tweaking to make this one work!

I love this, Kat! I love how you’re always sharing new-to-me types of poetry. And, as usual, you’ve inspired me and I tried my own. Blessings to you!
