My GSD used to try and get on my lap when she didn’t feel well. A friend had a St Bernard which tried to do the same.

Maggie played with a family of mastiffs at Hamworthy Park. There were three of them, a mother and sibling bitch and dog. Compared to my 4 month old baby, they were huge, but she was totally fearless, running around between their legs and tails. The best thing was they didn’t seem to mind this black and white dynamo getting in their way! When we first moved to Lincolnshire, we met up with two, a 6 month old puppy called Ghost and older dog called Gunner. Hubby was a bit wary when they came trotting up to me, but Maggie and I had met them before and they were putty in my dog biscuit hands!

Haha. Yes Jan. He always needs to be near me, if not actually sitting on top of me or sprawled out under my feet.
