Politicians hawk their brand, | To the media talking heads
Snake oil purveyors | who clamor for the latest dirt
whose loyalty is sold | because dirt sells advertising
to the highest bidder… | where truth doesn’t matter…
vile bottom feeders | just don’t call yourselves journalists!

Have to very much agree with your opinion on this matter. I think what they do is called slander.

Very well done! And I wouldn’t call it controversial in the least. Some might even say it states the obvious 🙂

It either works or it doesn’t. It seemed to me that if I got the idea past line three it would work. If I stalled at line three it was going nowhere.

I tried another…will link up here soon. I agree. Once I get the first three lines or so…then I set about completing one side or the other and fill in the other side. Otherwise my brain heads into a loop-de-loop trying to make something sensible of the whole thing! My second try is called Gone. Posting in a minute for you here. 🙂

I’m glad you’re sticking with it. I’ve been wrestling with another one on and off all afternoon. It just about makes sense now.
Multiple submissions are welcome 🙂

It stopped being news when they cared more about the circulation than they did about the story. Now, it’s nothing more than sensationalism (dare I say yellow journalism??) than it is news. No thanks.

I agree. And a population with an attention span of gnats, ravenous for sensational “reality” clips only feeds the beast!

They are really a tiresome bunch but I think it’s because there are people who are interested in their sensational nonsense.
