I became free when I
realized that
Heaven
can’t be bought
or sold
or bargained for…
and that it is
real
and all inclusive
and accessible.
Because
Heaven
Is
Now.

Hi Kat!
This looks a lot like a description of mindfulness practice to me. Are you a student of mindfulness of one form or another?

Hi Catherine!
Mindfulness has definitely been on my mind at this stage of my life! (Pun intended :)) I am not following any particular formal practice. I suppose it is the result of the natural progression of my spiritual journey. All those things we strive for in life? They can be found in each moment if we pay attention. So these days I practice paying attention. It’s amazing to me how full a moment can be!
Thanks for asking… And for your many “likes”. It’s very encouraging to a novice blogger like me 😊

Hi Kat!
You are very welcome! Yes, attention. I read something somewhere about how attention is the universe’s currency–hence we ‘pay’ it. What we choose to focus on becomes our reality, no? It’s freeing, really–I can take charge of my life, regardless of my circumstances, by choosing where and to what (or whom) I pay my attention, time and energy. Sometimes I certainly don’t feel in control, and that is where the practice comes in. 😉 Looking forward to connecting more! 😊
