To the WomanWho Told Me to Have a Nice Day…
I can’t forget what
you did…forgive me,
I never got your name, but
I wish I had, so
I could thank you for
being you, for doing
what you did that day,
without even trying, no
hint of forced intention,
because
that’s just who you are…
kind,
with a helping hand,
a ready smile, and a word
of encouragement in
the midst of my shitty day…
I can’t forget what
you did…forgive me,
I never got your name, but
I wish I had, so
I could thank you

For SundayWriting Prompt “Faith Restored”. The challenge: With allthe negativity in the world at the moment I thought we could all take a momentto recognize the heroes in our lives, people who have restored our faith inhumanity when all hope seemed lost.
Youneed not know the person personally just so long as they had an impact on yourlife or the life of someone near and dear to you.

I restore my faith in hope by looking at at least one good news story daily.
Being kind is something we can easily pay forward.

What a great idea. Mind if I borrow it? I agree. It takes so little to be kind.

I’ve got a computer news heading on my PC -https://www.msn.com/ And I go straight for the Good News on the head line choice at least once a day. Maybe everyone should be so inclined? Might make the world a better place 🙂

Oh WOW, this is so good, Kat. I have felt a shift in my perspective since opening my new blog…I think my faith is being restored as blog authors stretch their hands out to one another, expecting nothing and usually getting back so much in return. It’s a good place to be, on the road to full restoration.

I love my blogging community. When I first posted several years ago, I didn’t think anyone would notice. But before long I started to make friends with so many interesting people from all over the world. This is a wonderful platform!

It’s an incredible phenomenon, such a huge blessing–I’m feeling better than I have in the past 12 months.
