I see (hear) now you point it out. How weird! It’s a perfectly good rhyme but I didn’t hear it. I wonder if it’s because of where it falls in the line? Ignore what I said, there is a rhyme and I often think that the rhyme you don’t notice is the best one 🙂

Oh that is so true. We Americans tend to be snobbish when it comes to our rough interpretation of English. I’ll keep that in mind. 😉

What’s English? It used to be a Gaelic language, then a Norse language, then it got an injection of Low German, then the Normans brought their version of Latin/French, the colonies added their words, and TV put the final polish to it. And that’s only the English that’s spoken in England!

So now we have the Sheep in Chief who bleats while we sleep. Didn’t anyone tell him sheep follow, not lead? Of course not, what a silly presumption that anyone could accuse The D of woolgathering before producing.
