edging out rivals
can make onlookers edgy
when over the edge
weak knees and cold sweats
reveal a fear of edges
no cliffhangers here
brave trailblazers know
what lies past horizon’s edge
it’s an illusion

Thanks Dorna. I do not like heights or edges. This is a familiar topic!

I too have a strong dislike for heights, but the pic and your accompanying words gave the unsettling a settling effect as I read your delightful poem. ๐
Again, well done with your poetic creation. ๐

Teetering on the brink of haiku and humor! Brilliant interpretations. I hate being on edge too!
