It’s Thursday and time for another entry in response to my friend Jacqueline’s photo challenge. A little glimpse into the place I call home.
This is a night view from the edge of my neighborhood. In the distance the famous Roanoke Star atop Mill Mountain watches over us all as we sleep.
…and for fun, I am adding a view of the floor in my kitchen…of my feet in fact…as they appear next to the front paws if my English mastiff puppy who hasn’t finished growing yet!!!! Welcome to my world! Haha!
Send your own photos from home by connecting HERE! Happy Thursday! 😊

Wow! He is a big baby! There is really something pretty about night photos. I think it’s the natural background of darkness and then the burst of twinkling lights. It makes one want to see what is going on there.

Bonsoir

Such a beautiful star to watch over the town and people sleeping! Your English Mastiff is already huge and to think he’s still growing!

Yes. I love where I live. The mountains are beautiful. And the star is always there. It can be seen for miles! When I am returning from a trip, I can see it from 10 miles away on a clear night. I know I’m almost home when I see it. 🙂

Do you live in Denver, Colorado? I seem to remember it had a star.

His paws are huge. So large in fact, I might call them mastiff. (ok, you can groan)

[…] By the way, whose feet is bigger? By Kat Myrman of Mercury Colliding. I didn’t want to guess, lest I am wrong in my assumption. What do you think 😉 […]

Haha…Jacqueline! I would have to say Maxwell’s, but only based on the pain he inflicts when he steps on me! 😀

Yes Deb! He is only 2-1/2 years old. Mastiffs typically take about 3 years to grow into their feet! 😊
