A Sunday Sept

Rest
Today.
Tomorrow
Nips at our heels
With troubles
That can
Wait.

Hands
Extend
Hearts exposed
Displaying trust…
But betrayed
Become
Fists

Hands
Are quite
Versatile
Appendages
Fulfilling
Hopes and
Dreams

Hands
Caress
Skin to skin
Connecting us
Separate
Once, now
One.
