Tumescent…What a spicy little word this is! Dictionary.com provides a rated G definition, focusing almost exclusively as it applies to the use of language, but a deeper probe (sorry, I’m having way too much fun with this one) reveals quite an expanded explication!  Here is the definition from Oxford’s Learner’s Dictionary:

Had a bit of fun with this week’s Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge from RonovanWrites. It ended up sounding very much like a Chinese Fortune Cookie saying.  So here is it “Ronovan-san”…my Haiku for this week! 🙂 I, for one am thrilled that my brain took this challenge out of the large game and farm animal category.
