Saturday Magnets

It’s been a meandering day with the Magnets. A few thoughts her there and yon. I think I might need a hug…it cropped up a few times. Letting go of the ugly of the past year. Clean slate. We can do better. We can always do better.

every heart knows

that there are moments

when only a hug

will do

they ache

never sleeping

crushed by life

when it is less

than they

recall

frosted forest

eden rustles softly

beneath the cold earth

with longing for

spring(s) gentle blooms

stone deep sweetness

in the wings

i am a fool who

was born to see the

magic in ordinary

things…a poet dazzled

by life, always breathless

little hearts hold

an innocent trust

in all that is good

may we remember

when they are sad

and just need a hug
