A trio of haiku for TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge, prompt word: Cut.

When cutting something
curl your tongue and twist your face
it helps your fingers!
Ruthlessly savage
harsh words from a friend’s sharp tongue
cut deep to the heart.
Cutting one’s losses,
this end can be avoided
just cut to the chase.

Now the first haiku and the image go hand in hand. Quite funny. I can imagine how that cut turned out 🙂

Hi TJ! WP is acting weird. Found your link in my spam folder. I think I need to check it more often!
