Flying High (Take 2) of Friday Fictioneer’s 100 Word Story Challenge

I decided I needed to do a lighter take on the prompt for this week…so…here is take two.  Same vantage point, but a very different story! 🙂

Joy had planned the perfect time and place to tell Pete the news. It was the happiest place she could think of. They had met for the first time on those high swings.  Her seat buckle had gotten jammed and Pete helped free her after the ride had settled to the ground. That was 5 years ago. Since then, he had made her the happiest woman on earth.  The only thing that would make their lives better would be this.

So…there in front of their special place she told him.

“We’re gonna have a baby!”
