I decided I needed to do a lighter take on the prompt for this week…so…here is take two. Same vantage point, but a very different story! 🙂

Joy had planned the perfect time and place to tell Pete the news. It was the happiest place she could think of. They had met for the first time on those high swings. Her seat buckle had gotten jammed and Pete helped free her after the ride had settled to the ground. That was 5 years ago. Since then, he had made her the happiest woman on earth. The only thing that would make their lives better would be this.
So…there in front of their special place she told him.
“We’re gonna have a baby!”

Oh gosh, I understand! We don’t have much rain here and when we do have it for more than one day, I get gloomy too. Weather does effect me.

I have basically a phobia of amusement park rides, and the one pictured here is about as bad as they come for me. So for me the other’s response to being told of the impending arrival has a different spin. Great work.
