White Out Wednesday #8

My take on this week’s Whiteout Wednesday text prompt. This is such a fun and interesting challenge. If you would like to give it a try, click HERE.

cold, ugly, imperfect…
teeth flapping in the wind
it all hurts
this face that looks back
makes everything nothing
only yesterday,
breathing
only yesterday,
waiting to be something
then someone says,
have a heart to forget,
a mind to suffer.
You, over there, you in the front
selling love over death.

WOW – White Out Wednesday Challenge #7

I discovered a new challenge this week by my friend Pat at Black Cat Alley. Each week she provides the text and you are challenged to “white out” bits of text to create a new story…or verse. This week’s text is from Tova Martin’s Romance in Bloom: Plants with Ties to Love or Heartache. It’s a fun concept. If you’d like to give it a try, click HERE for the details.
