buck moon
the full moon rises
backlighting tree canopies
lunacy ensues

I’m afraid I dozed off before I could add a little verse last night. The critters, especially the turkeys on our property were absolutely bonkers last night. I was concerned there might be something scary in the woods spooking them all. Turns out it was probably the full moon…at least I’m hoping so. Missed seeing the hen and her poult yesterday. While I haven’t named all my visitors I do take a mental roll call every day. The downside of living in a thriving forest ecosystem, I suppose. Some may fall prey to predators. Nature…magnificent and terrifying but all in community as part of the myriad cycles of lie.
Thinking out loud as I often do…so unlike communities across this country dealing with people being disappeared…a server at a diner, coffee pot left unemptied into waiting cups, gone cold, yard equipment left unattended in partially unkempt lawns, crops left to rot in fields.
This has nothing to do with a thriving ecosystem and there truly are monsters hiding in wait to snatch vulnerable innocents. As I whisper to the critters outside my window…stay safe my loves and look out for each other.
Much love, peace, protection and glimmers to you!

It was very bright! So often we have cloud cover on full moon nights. It is lovely when we have clear skies! 😊
