…to kindness

sometimes a smile
a nod or a knowing glance
timed just right, no hint of guile
can give hope a chance
to change heavy hearts from gloom, perchance

Oh Kat, I can’t tell you how glad I am to be back at your site–I enjoy the Twittering Tales prompts, but even more, your poetry always touches my heart…and this one has a healing balm in the lines that I desperately needed today–thank you, and God bless.
