cursed clock
i hate you
but i need you so,
without you,
i’d be lost
in my dreams, never waking
snoozing…sleep…dreamless

No, you wouldn’t. You’d be every bit as keenly alive as you always are 😊

Ah but those lovely dreams do get interrupted by that blasted alarm! Snoozing a few minutes more rarely revives them. Sigh…

Yeah — my point. Without the alarm you’d have the dreams AND then be wide awake. SC-EW the alarms, say I!

I see your point. The time clock at work is a hungry beast that demands feedings at specific times. I know I know…I’m a slave. 😳

Well, we all are, whether to the clock or to too much money or to homelessness, as I am right now. My only point in commenting was that I didn’t think you did yourself enough credit to say that without the alarm clock you’d sleep forever, that’s all.

I’m not so sure that sleeping all the time wouldn’t be better sometimes lol. I have some wonderfully fun dreams!

Me too! And the alarm spoils them. Can never quite go back to the dream after hitting snooze! 😊
