a can of niggling worms looms as I write
I’m obsessed, unable to ignore
the innocents who’ve drifted from our sight
fractured families, children not cared for
species, numbers dwindling, resources razed
slipping between cracks; lost forevermore
precious treasures overlooked, throngs unfazed,
our better angels quickly losing ground,
their god is greed, they lavish him with praise

Terza Rima Challenge…As you can see, Jane, the abyss sucked me in. Hoping to round this series out on a more personal melancholy note…we shall see!

It really is. I just don’t get how the administration keeps getting away with atrocities. ☹️

The Republican enablers in Congress and the megabucks coming from the big contributors “, the gun and pharmaceutical lobbies, and, of course, the Russians.

Yep…you’re right. I still don’t get it. I know people who voted for this and would do it again. They are the ones I don’t understand. Why would anyone vote against their own self interest?

Keep your head above water, Kat, and take deep breaths. Maybe he’ll get a golf ball stuck in his throat from a lucky shot.

I don’t know what’s keeping her. It’s about time she visited old orange features, isn’t it?

I’m practising my club swing daily – and I don’t even play golf!
