The Resistance – NaPoWriMo 2017 #28

one hundred
days of vile
gaslit haze, of
us versus
them, insane power
plays; let us
never forget who
we are, not just
yet…the resistance is
legion, we’re on
to their treasonous
detours from
reason, the rape
of our resources,
drumbeats of
war by cowardly
twits who build
walls and slam
doors, with disdain
for the outcast the
sick and the
poor…oh let it be
known that we’re
on to their
schtick and
we
will
survive
what these tyrants
contrive, just as others
before us, we’ll settle
the score; let justice
prevail, let the truth
be restored; it’s time
to get tough and
demand to be
heard…
enough is
enough is
enough
