Two Haiku for TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge. This week’s prompt word is “Tide”.
tides of greatest change
dredge through stagnant surfaces
no stone left unturned.
a fleeting riptide
offers escape for the wise
who go with the flow.

I like your haiku sequence and photo very much. I particularly relate to the first haiku: dredging stagnant surfaces.

Two wonderful takes. Fantastic picture too! Do you know where it is? Wish the world would be a little more ready to “go with the flow” and calm down. 🙂

Yes I do know where it is TJ. I took the photo. It’s the Rodanthe Pier at the Outer Banks in North Carolina…my favorite place. 🙂

It is a super excellent picture. I did not mean to imply you did not take it, I just sometimes in my travels stop and grab a photo and move on without knowing what the place is. So lovely that you can visit it regularly. So picturesque. Do you have a DSLR Camera?

I visit as often as I can! And no worries. I try not to use others photos when I can. You will find this amusing… I use my iPhone for all my photos. 🙂

Wow! I am off to Europe later in the year and have been tossing up weather or not to invest in a new expensive camera or and I Phone as I have seen some amazing shots (yours included) from the phone. You are helping make a decision! I, like you, prefer to use my own images.

If you do decide to use your phone, I would also recommend downloading the free app PicsArt. It’s a wonderful tool for cropping and adjusting your images. It also has a text feature so you can sign your masterpiece! 😊
