Yes. That is Casey. I have several photos of her in that spot. It is our weekend ritual. I get to sleep in past sunrise and she joins me at the foot of the bed to watch the shadows dance through the curtains. π

She was found on the side of the road at about 4 weeks. Her mother and litter mates had died. Casey is quite an independent little soul…and loves her window view on the end of my bed. π

That’s so sad. I hate to hear about animals being dumped. It’s good that you adopted her and she had a chance at life. That is very sad about her litter mates. π¦

We were heartbroken for them, having looked to see if there were any more survivors. She was a fighter. π

We have lots of children’s toys around our house… if any of them have string dangling, our cat’s happy for a good few minutes, pouncing and wrestling!

Thanks Lynn! She’s my little sweetie. Every weekend when I get a chance to sleep in past sunrise she jumps on the end of my bed and watch for birds and squirrels.
