A Haiku for TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge – Prompt: Windowsill.
I spend 5 days a week, 9 hours each day in this space! If not for this beautiful full wall of windows I imagine I would wither away eventually from lack of sun. I count my blessings every morning when I arrive and every evening when I depart into what is often a breathtaking sunset. Thanks TJ for helping me to remember to be grateful this fine Monday morning! Here’s my Haiku”
Just a step away

If not for that parking lot, you’d have a gorgeous view of that field and trees! But at least you can still see them, right? I would go furiously mad if I didn’t have window views from both home and work offices. Perfect haiku.

Yes! I have WINDOWS. I have worked for years in a cubicle lit by overhead flourescent lights. I’m sure it has cost me years of my life!

Isn’t it amazing how we forget how necessary it is to be able to see the green world outside. So many people get outraged when we see animals cooped up in cages and then we stick people in cubicles with no view to the outside. So glad you have your window. 🙂

That is wonderful that you have a full wall of windows! At my employment I always felt like a mole. LOL! Lovely Haiku!

I did for so many years PJ. This is the first time I have had windows and I LOVE it. 🙂

I have a similar view but mine is a full window that looks into a parking lot and then the street. So, not as pretty as yours. Lucky you.

Still have the parking lot…mountains in the distance, but the strip of lawn right next to the building makes it wonderful! 🙂

Mine goes, parking lot, strip of grass and tree between parking lot and road, 5 lanes of road, Prevost RV lot. Not so wonderful, but better than no window I guess.
