Happy Thursday! Next to trees, I love clouds. White clouds, storm clouds, sunrise, sunset…and the sun shining through them is spectacular. They stir my imagination. They inspire me.
Today is a gray, overcast sort of day, so I pulled out some of my favorite sunshiny, blue sky cloud photos (I had so many it was hard to choose!) And I would like to share them with you. Hope these little snap shots of the sky above my head is an inspiration to you wherever you are. 🙂

I was probably the only one in the S.F. Bay Area who went nuts because of constant blue sky. I needed movement, shades of colors and grays.

Nice photos! Love clouds too. Last night on my ride home from work, was headed west, oh about 4:45 or so. Saw a patch of iridescence on some clouds. A very cool effect. I don’t think it was a rainbow – the colors were more pearly pink/purplish. There was definitely some interesting weather and/or physics going on. (I was in the left turn lane, so didn’t have tons of time to stare.)

I have seen that too. And on my way home toward the West. Must be something about the angle of the sun at this time. I don’t recall ever seeing it in the mornings or East. 😊

In 2012 we drove around the outside edge of the US….it was eye opening for sure…we plan on heading back that way sometime soon….really loved the Eastern seaboard….kat
